Co Wellington<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>\u00a01987-1999\u00a0 PROJECTS<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>The Sultan of Brunei<\/strong> \u2013 architectural gilding on both the interior and exterior gates of his Osterley Park Mansion, plus roof finials and railing detail (1987). <br \/><strong>The Earl and Countess Spencer<\/strong> \u2013 interior and exterior architectural gilding for their Mayfair home, including cornicing, door architraves, ceiling roses and railing arrowheads (1990). <br \/><strong>Mark Thatcher<\/strong> \u2013 gilding the stairway to their Kensington home (1991). <br \/><strong>Frau Schumacher, Frankfurt, Germany<\/strong> \u2013 gilding an entrance hall and ballroom (1993). <br \/><strong>Claridges Hotel, London<\/strong> \u2013 gilding the hotel's French and English salons for Veere Grenney Interior Design (1999).<\/p><p>Since returning to New Zealand I have continued to gild for a variety of projects ranging from architectural, to antique trade items, furniture and fine art.<\/p><p>&nbsp;<\/p><p><strong>SARAH GUPPY'S NEW ZEALAND GILDING PROJECTS <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Hopetoun Alpha restoration<\/strong> \u2013 the church formerly known as St James, Beresford Street, Auckland, now Hopetoun Alpha, was extensively gilded on both the interior and exterior (1997). <br \/><strong>Ponsonby Post Office<\/strong> \u2013 exterior gilding for floral detail, lettering and symbols (2004). <br \/><strong>Gilded wheelchair for Auckland sculptor Denis O'Connor (2004)<\/strong> \u2013 exhibited at Two Rooms Gallery and Wellington City Art Gallery 2007-2008 <br \/><strong>Symond Street, Auckland, former post office<\/strong> \u2013 exterior gilding to the crest and architectural detail (2005) <br \/><strong>Braemar Building, Ponsonby Rd, Auckland<\/strong> \u2013 exterior silver gilt to capitals and floral detail (2007) <br \/><strong>Helleby Bulding, Jervois Road, Auckland<\/strong> \u2013 Exterior gilt to name and pattern (2008) <br \/><strong>Gilded violin for artist Mary-Louise Browne<\/strong> for Auckland Philharmonic Orchestra <br \/><strong>Private commission from artist Peter Lange<\/strong>, 'The gilded brick' (2008) <br \/><strong>'Gilded Blessing<\/strong>', Objectspace, gilded cello collaboration with musician &amp;
